Its over. The first non-Berlin Loveparade took place in Essen, yesterday. It is rumoured that about 1.2 Million visitors joined the big party.
Nevertheless, my personal opionion is a bit devastating. Essen city is a bit too small for such an event. It was much too crowded, the music on the open air floor was very, very quiet. The organistion of the floats was horrible. All in all, I was absolutely disappointed by the parade itself.
The afterhour in the Zeche Carl was much better. I joined the crowed at 12:00pm. It was a really great party location and the areas were great. Especially the House and the Techno Rulez Area.
All in all a semi perfect party night, ’cause of the miserable loveparade itself.
