I just wanted to announce that my 2nd Semester is over and I have 2 month semester break from now on.
Unfortunately, 2 exams still have to be written concerning the second semester.
One of them is at Friday the 13th of July.

Many of you certainly know the famous top us comedian Dave Chappelle.
Dave Chappelle is awesome, it doesn’t matter if it stand-up comedy or packed into a show or a roleplay.
It’s always amusing.
But there is another great us comedian I’d like to show you.
His name is Steven Wright. He is so fu***ing great. As I said, the best comedian besides Dave Chappelle.
They both do excellent work.

Every sunday, from now on I’m gonna try to sum up everything I’ve done in the current week . This is my first Resumée and it’s going to be about last week. I know you are absolutely not interessted in what I’m doin’ all day, but I’m doin’ this primarily for myself. As I’m flooded with information day by day, be it at work, at university or at home reading newspaper, I just need a place to store at least a small peace of this information overflow.
Week23 – 2007
Last week was rather uneventful. I did a bit of research in Webservices and how they are realized in SAP.
Webservice is an interface between to different/individual Systems which want to communicate and exchange data with each other. For instance two different SAP Systems of two different companies like to exchange data on a regualary basis. Due to the fact, that SAP is a very complex System, its not just a simple send-and-accept procedure. Just image two people speaking different languages. They wanna talk to each other, but they dont understand each other. Webservice takes the place of an interpreter. The Air, the transport medium, represents in our case the protocoll HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) which transports the translated speech in our case the SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol).
The content respectively the speech itself is in our case the WSDL (Webservice Description Language) based on XML (eXtensible Markup Language).
Besides, I’m going to build up an inhouse communication plattform where everyone can ask questions, discuss and resolve problems. I finished it last week and will present it this week. Maybe I’ll post some pictures of it in the next resumée.
